Announcement from KY Representative to the Representative Assembly (RA)

Greetings AOTA members of KY!

As your KY Representative to the Representative Assembly (RA), I need your input for the RA spring meeting at the AOTA conference on April 3 and April 4. The RA is set to discuss and decide on final recommendations about the entry points for occupational therapists (OT) and occupational therapy assistants (OTA).

As you may recall, a survey was sent to AOTA members on March 7, 2019. I included its primary message here: “We are requesting your feedback on the motions that will be deliberated by the RA at its upcoming meeting. Once you have reviewed the motions, please complete a brief survey which will provide your Representative with comments and feedback on each motion. You may also contact your Representative directly to ask questions or provide additional feedback.”

In my final 3 months as the KY Representative, I strive to represent the collective voice of the Commonwealth, and I am asking you to please take this brief survey if you haven’t already done so (see link above). Your input is critical to the RA’s decision-making, and I appreciate your time and contribution related to these important professional issues.

It has been my pleasure to serve you, and I look forward to continuing our work together as an AOTA member from KY!

Most sincerely,

Angela M. Cecil, MBA, OTR/L

Kentucky Rep to AOTA Representative Assembly
